2manydjs, Fangoria, Dorian, The Zombie Kids, Undo and Buenavista will be performing at The Brandery

Belgian outfit 2manydjs will be headlining the live performances at The Brandery Winter 2012. During its DJ set, 2manydjs will be showcasing its knowledge of contemporary music, from pop to funk via hip-hop, synchronizing images with the sounds. Fangoria (Alaska and Nacho Canut), Dorian, The Zombie Kids, Undo and Buenavista round off the series of concerts taking place in Brandtown, The Brandery’s space for the general public that will be open at the weekend for the first time.

The Brandery, Barcelona’s urban and contemporary fashion show, is back again with a host of artistic and cultural activities and entertainment for the general public to experience 360º of fashion. The show will be featuring major brands in Brandtown such as Custoline and Superdry as well as a range of exhibitions and workshops to explore the relationship between art, film, eroticism, music and fashion.

In this context of interlinking cultural platforms, pop, electronic and contemporary music play a key role in representing one of the most important outlets of creative expression, and the concerts will be the big stars of the catwalk shows and event staging.

Performance artists with their own extraordinary personality
The line-up at the next event is full of top-level artists: on Friday 27 January the well-known, stadium-filling Belgian outfit, 2manydjs, who appear at the world’s major festivals, will be offering a DJ set featuring pop, funk, prog-rock, R&B and hip-hop.
They will be preceded by Dorian, the Spanish band founded in 2002, which has a unique sound combining traditional pop with contemporary electronic music. Undo, one of the most important DJs and music producers on the national scene, will be rounding off Friday night with his very personal blend of techno, electro and pop melodies.

On Saturday 28 January, Fangoria (Alaska and Nacho Canut) will be presenting an extract from their latest album in Brandtown “The Transcendental Shift from Vaudeville to Slapstick”, which looks back over their long and fruitful career and features 22 of their major hits recorded between 1990 and 2009. Songs from today and yesterday, performed by one of the most charismatic duos on the Spanish music scene.

Fangoria will be followed by the dynamic couple that make up The Zombie Kids in a set that mixes electro, punk, hip-hop, metal and many more electronic sounds. A highly eclectic style from these kids from Madrid, Edgar and Jay, who have won widespread popular acclaim for their music mixing skills, punk spirit and zombie cheek. And finally, Buenavista (Javier Estalella) will be presenting his vision of electronic mix that transcends the boundaries of style and fuses sounds with his open, defiant attitude.

The concerts will be held in Hall 8 of the Montjuïc Exhibition Centre from 20.00 onwards. Tickets to Brandtown, which opens at 15.00, will be on sale for 15€ per day or 35€ for a 3-day pass.
